Theme: What would you do if you woke up one morning to find yourself invisible?
Alphonse groaned as he turned in his bed. He’s head was
aching. He pushed himself up on his bed. He looked around his room. Nothing was
out of place. The chifforobe stood tall and light was beaming through the
curtains.
“Oh my! I’m running late!” he cried as he jumped out of bed.
He grabbed the handle to his door and tried to push it open. He gasped as the
door didn’t open. He stared and the door and reached to grabbed the knob
firmly. He gasped as he hand went through the door.
“This can’t be happening!” He turned to look at his bed. It
was empty. It looked as if he had slept in it.
“Dodginberg!” He heard a woman call. He smiled as he recognized
the voice of his maid. “Master Dodginberg! You need to get up.” The door opened
and a small, plump woman stood at the door.
“Ethel!” he greeted. “What time is it?”
“Master Dodginberg?” she paused. She carefully walked into
the room. Alphonse shivered as he felt her walk through him. “Master
Dodginberg? Where are you?” She looked under the bed and checked the closet.
She tssked as she didn’t find him.
“I’m right here Ethel!” Alphonse cried out. “I’m right here!”
He grabbed her shoulder but gasped as it only went through her. He took several
steps back and cowered into the corner. “No. No. No. No. No.” His back slid
down the wall as he collapsed. “This can’t be happening. This just can’t. No.
No. No!” He curled over as the tears fell down his check in steady streams.
