Tails x Amy fanfic

It was a scent that made my brain fuzzy. It was the same back then when we first met. It's been years and not much has changed.
I glanced up at Antoine who was planting flowers a few feet from me. I smiled as he handed me another flower to plant.
I only had five more minutes before she arrives. I had best make use of my clear brain while I can.
Plant the flowers. Plant the flowers. Repair the forest to it's former glory.
I repeat the phrase in my head as a sutra to help me focus. The soil was rich with nutrients, so I'm sure the plants will thrive. The few trees we planted a few years back were getting along ok. They were still small, but growing steadily. I just hope they'll stay long enough to create a wonderful shade.
"We've brought more flowers!" Bunnie's voice called from the hill.
Antoine smiled as he greeted his wife. "We're almost done with this flower bed too."
Bunnie smiled as she pulled the wagon full of plants behind her.
"What kind of tree is that?" I point at the sapling. No one had told me about planting another tree.
"Oh I brought it!" Amy beamed as she stood next to the wagon. "I thought adding some fruit baring trees would be nice."
"We already have apple and plum trees. What other trees could you add?" I could smell her scent all around me. Like a suffocating presence. And yet I had missed it while she was away. I must have an addictive personality to crave her scent so badly.
"This is a pear tree." Amy beamed. "And this is an orange tree."
I laughed as I nodded. "Ok. Ok. It's too late for you to take them back."
Amy beamed as she walked around the clearing. She wanted to plant the saplings in a good spot. Nice and sunny and freedom to grow.
My eyes follow her far too closely. Like a predator watching a meal. I quickly get back to work.
Plant the flowers.
I hum to myself. I just need to keep busy and by being busy I won't spout stupid stuff to her.
"Hey Tails, let's go get something for lunch," Amy appears right in front of my face.
"I'm good. Why don't you grab lunch with Antoine and Bunnie?" I suggest. "I'll just plant these last few plants." I gesture towards to the wagon that held the the flowers. "I'll join y'all after that."
Amy pouted. "But they already left."
"They did?" I glance around and sure enough the married couple was gone. Plus the sun was setting. I sigh. "Isn't it time to for dinner not lunch?" I muse as I finish planting the flowers.
"I know, but you've been so busy humming and planting it was hard to get your attention." Amy stated.
"You could've just nudged me a little." I gave a nervous chuckle. The last thing I needed was Amy to be angry at me.
Amy rolled her eyes. "That's the last flower," she stated as I finished. She grabbed my arm and pulled me up. The years had been kind to me, I was now easily taller then her. "Dinner time now. So let's go eat." She demanded.
"Ok. Ok." I agree as I feel swallowed by her scent once again. I grab the wagon and pull it back to Knothole. "What do you wanna eat for dinner? Uncle Chuck has been working on his spicy chicken wings since you've last been here."
Amy laughed. "I heard. Why don't we eat at his cafe then?"
The cafe wasn't too packed. Most people were already heading home. Knothole really didn't have much of a night life after all.
Sonic greeted them from behind the counter. The blue hedgehog did help out there when he had spare time. "How are the flowers?"
"Growing nicely." I tell my big brother.
"Tails got into a trance of planting. He was even humming this cute melody. What song was it?" Amy teased.
I give a nervous smile as I shrug. "Who knows? I don't remember.  Maybe it was something from one of Mina's old albums. One of them did play on random in my workshop the other day." I really couldn't recall what I was humming. I could have been singing Call me maybe or Friday and not realize it.
Amy chuckled as she sat down. I took the seat across from her. I pick up the menu. I really don't need it. I know everything on it. I have been coming here since I was a kid. I even named a few items on the menu too! But it gave me something else to focus on. Something else to stare at that wasn't her.

ShadAmy fanfic chocolate

Shadow stared at the chocolate Amy Rose had handed him. "What is this for?" He asked bluntly.
"Well..." Amy trailed off a bit. "Today is a holiday."
Shadow arched an eyebrow. He quietly walked over to the closest calendar.  "Ah. It's February 14th." He remembered today's holiday. Valentine's. He didn't much care for it. But Amy made sure to make chocolate and a card every year. It probably said you're an awesome friend or something. Shadow just hoped the card didn't contain a pun. He wasn't too big on those.
"Thank you Rose," Shadow examined the box for the card. He was never going to turn down free chocolate. "What kind a of chocolate did you make this year?"
"A few different kinds." Amy began to play with her fingers. Tugging at her gloves.  "Yours is dark and milk chocolate. You can eat it whenever you're ready."
Shadow nodded. "Thank you Rose. It is really nice of you."
"Well I like you. And there aren't many times I get the chance to show you." Amy stated as she looked at a spot on the ground.
Shadow nodded with a small smile he reserved for rare occasions. "I am honored to be on the list of people you like Rose."
Amy smiled as she nodded. Her face was flushed as she moved from one foot to another. "Well I better get going," she checked her watch nervously.  "I have lots of chocolate to deliver." Shadow nodded as he began to walk back to the shooting range. "Make sure you drink plenty of water Rose. You're looking flushed."
Amy began to jog away with a quick, "I will."
Shadow placed the box of chocolate on the table in the room were he had placed his gun. He picked up the gun and walked back to where he had been practicing.  He fired off the rest of the round before picking up another clip to load. He went through two more clips before stopping to clean the gun. He picked up the box and returned the gun to the weapons room.
"I see your girlfriend has already given you chocolate, " Rouge tease as she came up beside the black hedgehog.
Shadow rolled his eyes. "Rose isn't my girlfriend."
Rouge pouted, "Aw! I missed her. She always makes the best chocolate."
Shadow nodded in agreement, "Rose is a wonderful cook."
"So what kind did you get this year?" Rouge leaned in close.
Shadow moved the box out of her grasp. "Dark and milk. If you want your own, you should go find Rose so she can give you some."
Rouge pouted. "I wish she had waited for me to get here."
"Rose probably thought you were with Knuckles. She did look flushed too. She might be in a hurry to get to everyone." Shadow stopped by the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water. "Here, give this to Rose and make her drink some of it. It'll be bad if she catches a cold."
Rouge smiled as she took the bottle, "You could give it to her yourself?"
"True, but you're the one wanting chocolate." Shadow shot back as he left the kitchen.
Rouge rolled her eyes as she flew after him. "Well maybe you should try returning the favor to Amy. It's not fair that every year she makes everyone chocolate and she never gets any in return."
Shadow's ear twitched at that statement. "Rose gets chocolate from Cream every year and Tails gives her a gift on the 14th of March in return for chocolate." He informed. "She doesn't get much, but she gets something."
"Yeah, but every girl would like to get a little more. I mean if I made you chocolate every year, I'd like it if you gave me a little something back every other year at least."
Shadow shrugged as Rouge rolled her eyes before flying away. Shadow got to his apartment and thought about it.
Rose never did ask for too much. Not of him at least. She used to beg Sonic for a date, but that had ended a few years ago. Now a days, Rose baked in between missions of stopping the doctor's insane plots of world domination. He knew Rose also had a job, but he didn't know what it was. He had never bothered to ask.
He wondered what would Amy like to get as a return gift. Since Rose seemed to be flush earlier, he pondered if getting her some medicine would be beneficial. Maybe not the best thank you for all the chocolate she's given them over the years. But at least it would show that he cared. He would through in tea and a few flowers too. Rose did like flowers.
Shadow knocked on the door. He heard a slight shuffling as the door slowly opened. Amy tilted her head as she greeted him with a kind hello. She didn't seem as flush as before. Shadow handed her the small basket he had placed medicine and tea inside.
"Rouge suggested I get you a return gift for all the years you've given me chocolate. As a thank you gift," Shadow stated simply.
Amy giggled as she accepted the basket. "If you really wanted to thank me, you could've just given me a hug."
"A hug?" Shadow placed a hand on his hip. "Is that all it would take to please you Rose?"
Amy became flush with embarrassment. "Maybe," she turned her head. "I'm a simple person after all."
Shadow nodded in a agreement. His eyes scanned the area before wrapping his arms around her. Amy let out a yelp as he lifted her off the ground by a few inches. He held her there a moment before placing her back on the ground.
Amy blushed as she stared at Shadow a moment. A smile soon over took her face. "Thank you Shadow."
Shadow nodded. He brushed her bangs out of her face with the back of his hand. "Now go rest Rose. You're face is looking flush again."
Amy chuckled as she nodded. She took a step back before going inside. "Thank you for everything Shadow," she spoke softly as she laid the gift basket on the coffee table in the living room.
Shadow shrugged. "A hug is a simple request to full fill." He placed his hand on the door handle of the front door. "Have a good evening Rose." He softly pulled the door close as Amy waved at him as she pulled the flowers out of the basket.

Sonic Fanfic Random

I was reading a fanfic and I got super into it until a few chapters in and they turned Sally into a total bitch. It was a shame. Just because Amy is the main person in the ship doesn't mean Sally has to be the wicked witch. Like wtf? So I'm going to write a fanfic were Sally is at least some what in character, since we're lacking so many of those.

Amy hummed as she brushed her hair. She had yet to be able to go to bed. It was like her brain didn't want to sleep. So Amy decided to brush her hair in a vain attempt to lull herself to sleep.
Her phone chimed as a new message came in. She picked it up and smiled at the text.
Can't sleep. Get dressed so we can go eat.
She nodded as she sent back a quick, 'k.' She got out of bed and pulled out a t-shirt and the put on some jeans. There was no need to be dressed up. She pulled a jacket out as she grabbed her keys. She quickly slipped on her signature boots before stepping outside. It wouldn't take him long to get there.
A part of Amy wondered where Shadow would be taking her for their late night snack.
The other part of her got lost in the feeling of the wind going through her quills as she sat on the porch swing.
"Amy?" A quiet voice broke her out of her thoughts.
Green eyes found a red headed chipmunk on her porch.
"Hi Sally?" She greeted with a smile.
Sally arched an eyebrow at her. Did the pink hedgehog not realize that it was past midnight?
"Is something the matter?" She asked as she took a seat beside her on the swing.
"No." Amy shook her head.
"Did you fall asleep out here?" Sally placed a hand on her head. There wasn't a fever.
"No." Amy chuckled. "I'm just waiting."
"It's much too late for you to be going out." Sally frowned.
"We're just going out for a midnight snack." Amy chuckled nervously.
Sally frowned. "Sonic is going to wind up giving you the flu taking you out for a snack this late."
Amy tilted her head.
"Do you have a thicker jacket?" Sally asked. "If Sonic runs carrying you in that light jacket, you'll catch a cold." She walked over to the door. "If you, I can put a bit of eye shadow amd lip gloss on you do you can surprise him with that."
"Huh..." Amy bit her lip, "I'm not going out with Sonic."
"Then with who are you going out with?" Sally placed her hands on her hips.
"Shadow," Amy answered.
Sally arched an eyebrow. Shadow did always seem to be nicer to Amy and other small children. She briefly wondered if Amy had any similarities to Maria. "The same problem about running is still a concern."
Amy nodded in understanding. "I think we'll be taking my car when he gets here. We normally do, but if he wants to take his bike, I'll put on a thicker jacket."
Amy opened the front door and the two girls walked in.
"Where do you keep your jackets?" Sally asked as she examed the small coat rack. It was mainly empty with only another small jacket there.
Amy slid off the one she had been wearing as she walked to a small hall closet in next to the laundry room. "They're right here," she gestured.
Sally smiled as she walked into the small closet. She grabbed at the jackets to check their thickness. She finally pulled one out and handed it to the pink hedgehog. It was large on  Amy, but she smiled as she put on the worn jacket. It was thick and would be plenty warm.
"Who gave you that jacket?" Sally mused. It was obviously a men's jacket.
"My uncle gave this to me." Amy smiled, "It was a long time ago. I used to be able to use this as a blanket."
The two girls laughed.
"Well it's nice and warm, so you shouldn't catch a cold," Sally placed a hand on Amy's forehead. "No fever. So you're good to go out."
