“How can this
be?” General Randy slammed the documents on his desk causing the soldiers in
the room to jump. “How in tarnation did they make a little girl?”
“We’re still unsure sir.” Tim answered. “We’re still sifting
through all their files.”
“Well stop sifting and actually read!” Randy twirled his
hand. “I want to know if this kid is a threat or not.”
“Sir with all due respect, she probably is a threat.”
Johnson stated. “After all, she isn’t human. Die Gesellschaft[1]
made her after all. For all we know, it could be a moving bomb!”
“Is she really not human?” Randy looked to Tim.
“All the files we’ve recovered so far refer to her as an
artificial human.” Tim stated.
“See, artificial. Therefore not human.” Johnson nodded.
“We can say that she’s not a human for sure just because she
isn’t human. After all, if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and acts
like a duck, then it’s a duck.” Samuel stepped in. “So far, she has shown
herself to just be a normal human.”
“Heh.” Johnson snorted. “That’s probably to lure us into a
false sense of security.”
Randy shook his head. “So where is she?”
“She’s in the infirmary with Commander Bobber right now
sir.” Edward answered.
“She’s here?” Randy jumped out of his seat. “And no one told
me? Why wasn’t she brought to see me immediately?”
The others gulped as they watched their boss march down the
hall. They turned to Edward, who sighed. He got up and chased after the
70-something man.
