cards

CARDS

Amy carefully laid out the cards. She was in the midst of a very important card reading. She gulped as she flipped over the first card. The other cards followed suit. She sighed. The reading only proved her thoughts even more.

"What are you doing Rose?" A deep voice caught her off guard.

Amy bounced up in her spot to see Shadow standing over her. His normal expression held some curiousness as his ruby eyes looked over the cards.

"Oh, I'm just asking a little tarot card reading." Amy replied.

"You look really serious about it." He noted, "Is there something bothering you?"

"Not really." Amy lied as she gathered up the cards. She hummed as she looked around the scenery of the woods. "What brings you here?"

"A race with Sonic," came the soft reply. "I won, but I wanted to take my time on my way back."

Amy nodded. "It's really nice here," she stated, "I saw some really beautiful birds once. You might find their songs annoying, but it's really relaxing to just watch them build their nests. It's like magic how they compact all those twigs together."

Shadow nodded. He glanced back at the cards. "What did you tell a fortune about? Sonic?" He had seen the pink hedgehog read the cards about her future with Sonic or just about Sonic in general often.

"Nah. Nothing to do with Sonic this time," she waved her hand in the air, dismissing the idea.

"Then what?" Shadow tilted his head.

"Um..." She paused. She didn't want to lie to Shadow nor did she want to tell him. "Can I keep that to myself?" She nearly whispered. "I want to keep it to myself for a while."

Shadow nodded. Rose had things she wanted to keep to herself. He kept most things to himself. He would respect her on that front. "Very well, would you like me to give you a lift home?" Shadow asked.

"That would be awesome. But don't you want to enjoy the scenery?" Amy smiled as she gestured to the woods.

"I can always come back later," he shrugged.

"How about we walk together? That way you can do both. I don't mind at all." Amy beamed.

Shadow nodded in agreement.

demon story

Luce shook his head. "That's your request?" He just couldn't believe it. She had summon him, a great demon, not to cause mayhem, but to run an errand.

"Yes," she nodded. She was curled up into a ball in a streaming hot bath.

Luce pinched the bridge of his nose. "Let's go over this. You summoned me, a demon, and your request of me is to go get you dark chocolate and watermelon?"

the woman nodded.

"Whoever put my crest on women's pads will feel my wrath." He muttered.

"Well it doesn't look like any one else is summoning you," the woman retorted.

Luce groaned. He had wanted work. He just didn't think he'd be turned into some woman's errand boy. "I'll be back." He disappeared into a puff of smoke.

He picked up a bunch of dark chocolate and a whole watermelon. The best thing about being a demon was that he could just appear in the store, take what he wanted and disappear. He didn't have to pay and the cameras wouldn't pick him up. Yay being a demon.

He teleported back and stared at the woman. She had fallen asleep in the tub. Her skin slightly red from the heat. He slightly hoped that she would drawn so he wouldn't have to serve her anymore. He place the items in the bathroom counter. He tapped joys got as he stared at the woman.

It would look bad if he let his first client in nearly have a century die. He opened a few drawers and found something. It looked cleaned. He pulled it out and found the batteries beside it. He put them in and sat beside the tub. He turned on the device. It made a soft buzzing sound. He pressed it against her cheek and waited.

She giggled as the object tickled her. She pushed it away as she woke up. She rubbed her eyes as she looked at the demon. "What are you doing playing with my vibrator?"

Luce shrugged. "I'm a demon stuck in servitude to a woman on her period who sends me to run silly errands for food. I wanted some payback."

The woman nodded. "Did you at least run the silly errand I sent you on?"

Luce pointed to the counter.

"You really are a great demon," she smiled as she stood up. She rung her hair out into the tub as she stepped out. She dried her body off with a towel before sitting on the toilet. She grabbed a clean pair of underwear from the drawer and a pad. Once she had adjusted that she threw a nightgown with stars on it. She unwrapped a chocolate bar and took a bit. "Yummy!" She beamed. She then grabbed the vibrator out of Luce's hand. She turned it off and took out the batteries. She cleaned it and placed it back in the drawer.

"Do you want to eat any of this with me?" She asked.

"Not really." He replied.

"Then you can go home. I'll be busy eating." She picked up the good and left the bathroom. "Oh, before I forget, thanks!" She turned back with a smile.

Luce sighed. "You're welcome."

poem

It's the beginning of the month

trees with pretty lights are every where

and I'm here just looking on

thinking about this that and so on.

I'm excited to work

don't really want to go to school anymore

just work and save

soon I'll be able to stand on my own

Tails fanfic

Tails gave a big yawn as he woke up. He had just had the deepest sleep in months. He sat up and stretched. He then froze as he looked around.

This wasn't his room. Not his workshop in Mystic Ruins. Nor the one on Cocoa Island. Not the one in the house the government gave him in Station Square. The government gave it to him for saving them from Eggman's missile and Tails just kept it. Even though he rarely used it.

This place didn't look like the room he had at his parents' place. Unless his mom redecorated.

That must be it. Tails concluded as he slowly got out of bed. He walked to the door and opened it slowly.

He couldn't quite remember how he had gotten to his parents' place. The last thing he remembered was flying his place.

Tails groaned.

He must have crashed the plane... Again.

His parents probably already had a lecture ready too. Tails stepped into a hallway. The hallway didn't look like the one at his parents home. He walked on a carpet soft enough to be a blanket. It was a dark color that he couldn't quite place in the dimly lit hallway.

He stopped when he saw a figure approaching him. It was Honey The Cat. Her signature pigtails bounced as she walked.

"What are you doing out of bed?" She chastised.

Tails shrugged. "I just woke up. How'd I get here?"

"You're plane spiralled out of controller from one of EggHead's bots. You crashed right next to my modeling shoot. We've had to put the whole thing on hold while the Freedom Fighters clean up the wreckage." Honey crossed her arms.

Tails nodded. Honey was going to hold the fact he put her fashion company behind schedule for a while, he was sure of that. "How far behind did schedule did I put your company?" He asked with a reluctant sigh. Maybe he could make it up to her somehow. Maybe find her a new place to do the shoot.

"They say it'll take a week at least before we can do the shoot." Honey replied. "And beaches are so hard to reserve." She muttered.

"Oh..." Tails nodded. "Cocoa Island has some really nice beaches. If you want, I can fly everyone and everything you need there in the sky patrol."

Honey made a tsking sound. "After your recent landing, I think you should take a break from flying. But I'll remember that offer for future use. Right now, you need rest. Back to bed with you."

"But I'm feeling fine." Tails whined as he slumped his shoulders.

"I don't care." Honey placed her hand on his shoulder and turned him around.

Tails paused as he stared at her. "When did you become shorter then me?" He whispered the question.

"You've had a few grow spurts since I last saw you." Honey retorted. "Now off to bed with you."

"But I'm not sleepy..." He pouted as he let her lead him back to bed.

"Well lunch isn't ready yet. So you'll have to stay in bed until then." Honey patted his shoulder.

"Okay..." Tails sighed as he got back in bed and curled up in the blankets.

Honey smiled as she passed him in the head. "I'll come get you once lunch is done."
